I love to tell stories.
Be it the slightly embellished tales shared among friends on a Friday night at the local watering hole; Be it the detailed description of life as a transient, I love stories.
They are my life's work. From photography to print and broadcast, I have tackled all the different mediums by which I can continue to do what I love.
I can't recall a time when I wasn't writing. It has been the constant in my life for longer than I can remember. Only a few fast years ago, I decided to take it to print. Within a year, I picked up photography. I always enjoyed gazing on moving images and thought I could make them too. With that I have tried to create imagery that touches on all senses. I want to make photographs that can be tasted, smelled, felt, heard and seen.
And then radio came calling. Something I once viewed as fun became practical.
I've published work in a number of locations, from photographs and articles in University Link Magazine and The Times-Standard to audio files on the NPR affiliate of the North Coast. I've earned awards in all three mediums as well.
But far more important than the past — is the future.
I've loved my experiences in all these mediums. I look forward to a career in any and all of them. And wherever it is that I am taken, I will walk with an open heart, open eyes, and most importantly, an eager and open mind.
